The notice also stated that people with malicious intent are spreading false, fabricated, and baseless news through various news portals about postponing the 18th Teacher Registration’s written exam. This misinformation is creating confusion among the public, especially on social media. Everyone is urged not to be misled by these false reports.

In the meantime, candidates from flood-affected districts have been requesting to postpone the written exam for the 18th Teacher Registration due to the difficult conditions.

Mozammel Hossain from Sariakandi Upazila in Bogura, who passed the preliminary exam of the 18th Teacher Registration, dreams of becoming a teacher. However, the severe flood situation is a major obstacle to achieving his dream.

Mozammel Hossain told Jago News on July 6, “The flood situation in Sariakandi is very bad. We are living in fear for our lives. The water level is rising daily, and transportation has collapsed. Thinking about taking the exam in such a situation is a luxury. We strongly request the exam to be postponed for a few days.”

However, NTRCA Secretary Obaidur Rahman stated that the flood situation in Sylhet is improving. There is no possibility of water entering the exam centers in Sylhet. The flood situation is also improving in other divisions. Therefore, there is no need to postpone the exam at this time.
