Champion Tiger Youth flying India

In one day, the flag of Bangladesh is flying in two fields. The scenario of the two battles of Baishagaj is different though. Bangladesh is already batting at home against visiting Pakistan. On the other hand, Tiger Youth made history in the Garden of Eden in Kolkata.

Bangladesh U-19 team won the tri-nation ODI series title at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In the final match on Tuesday (December 6), the Tigers got a majestic 162-run victory over India U-19 ‘B’ team.

Earlier, the hosts lost 3 wickets for just 5 runs to chase the big target of 235 runs given by Ich Mollah. In the controlled bowling of Zaman-Sakib, cornered India U-19 ‘B’ team. After that they could not turn around. The hosts lost everything by scoring only 53 runs.

Bangladesh is fighting in two places in one day. The screenplay is different though. Bangladesh are already losing wickets in a row after batting against visiting Pakistan at home. On the other hand, Tiger Youth is writing history in Eden Garden, Kolkata.

India did not lose a wicket in the first 3 overs but could not get a run. The hosts lost to Shaun Roger by 6 runs in the third ball of the fourth over of the innings. After that they lost two more wickets just to add 1 run. One by one, Mohammad Faiz and Aradhya Yadav went back to the toilet.

For Bangladesh, Zaman got two wickets and Tanjim Shakib got one wicket each.

Earlier in the rain-affected match, batting first, Ich Mollah’s impeccable innings of 93 runs wrapped in 10 fours and two sixes lost all the wickets and the youth of Bangladesh got a big collection of 234 runs.

Earlier on Wednesday (December 1) in their second match of the three-team ODI series, Bangladesh U-19 team won by a huge margin of 113 runs against India U-19 ‘B’ team. India’s innings was reduced to 192 runs with the target of 306 runs given by the Tigers.
