Gauri shares ‘little secret’ about husband Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri together on stage means fun X infinity! The 53-year-old superstar and his interior designer wife won the Most Stylish Couple Award at the recently little secret held HT’s Most Stylish Awards night. On her Instagram, Gauri celebrated the win with her favourite moments from the award night and treated fans to a ‘little secret’ about Shah Rukh Khan.  So, tonight I made a special effort and I took 2-3 hours and I think he took 6,’ Gauri added as she sent the audience into a fit of laughter, reports the ndtv.com.

Shah Rukh Khan married Gauri in 1991 and the couple are parents to three children – AbRam, Suhana and Aryan. Gauri headlines a boutique interior designing label called Gauri Khan Designs. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has a biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma, titled Saare Jahan se Achha, in the pipeline. This is the first marriage for the 36-year-old Jost, who is the co-anchor of SNL’s Weekend Update. The couple recently walked the red carpet together at the premiere of ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ in which Shah Rukh Khan plays the character of Black Widow.

Actress Shah Rukh Khan, who works in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language films, is in the news for reportedly turning down an endorsement deal worth Rs 2 crore for a fairness cream brand. Shah Rukh Khan became a very recognisable face in the southern film industry after the success of films such as Premam, Kali and Fidaa. However, she isn’t the only Indian celeb to take a stand against fairness cream brands. Earlier in 2017, Hindi film actress Taapsee Pannu has pulled out of an event when she realised she had to pose with a cream’s banner in the background.

She had told Hindustan Times, ‘I agree it was a last minute call, but when I found out that I would have to pose at the event with fairness brand in the background, I decided to take my name off the event. I have actually lost quite a few films because of being fair, so I will not propagate fairness in any way.’ In the same year, Abhay Deol had also criticised many Bollywood actors for promoting fairness cream brands.

In a Facebook post, he had written, ‘You have to see that for yourself. You have to stop buying into the idea that a particular shade is better than others… While an individual may not be able to change this attitude in his/her community, he/she can at least start with the family.’
