There are many things around us that intimidate us. Frightens We like to be away from them and avoid them at all costs. But what if you could get over your fears? Is there a way? Read on to find out.
There are many creatures around us that make us palpitate. For instance, snakes, spiders, lizards, cockroaches, and so on. Not all of us will be afraid of all of them. As for me, I cannot stand lizards. I hate being near them or watch them moving around our home. In fact, I am afraid of them.
Well, Frightens would you believe that I have killed lizards and thrown them in the trash?
Yes, how did I do it? Simply by gathering up the courage and telling myself, “Yes, I can do it.” It happened when nobody was at home, and it entered my restroom on the door.
We are not only afraid of these creatures but also a whole lot of other issues. For instance, job interviews, sky diving, presentations, public speaking, and a whole lot of other activities that we would be doing for the first time.
Our thoughts about the fearful issues run like this Frightens .
“I will make a fool out of myself. I am not an expert at it. Others will badly criticize me. I don’t think I will be able to handle it skillfully. No, this stuff isn’t for folks like me. I just cannot make myself do it.”
The idea is to let your fearful feelings flow until you start thinking gradually in positive terms. For instance, you start saying to yourself, “Hey, this isn’t as bad as I thought. Maybe I can give it a shot. I will practice over and over again. Surely then, I will make it with flying colors.” The more you repeat this thought, the stronger you get and just confront the fearful thing and do it.
We should all be doing more of what frightens us. The idea is not to be without fear but is to conquer your fears and in the process, become bold and execute them.
Do you know someone fearful of something Frightens?
Help them out by telling them your own experiences and strategies. Together we can build a community that can overcome their fears and can achieve and soar as well. We need a prosperous world for that matter. And it can happen to start from you, spreading the message. Gotcha?
