HSC Exam 2024: Physics 2nd Paper Questions Distributed in 1st Paper Exam

Physics 2nd Paper Questions Distributed in 1st Paper Exam

During the ongoing HSC exams of 2024, an error occurred at an exam center under the Chittagong Education Board, where students were given the Physics 2nd Paper questions instead of the Physics 1st Paper.

This incident took place today, Thursday (July 11), at the Bijoy Smarani College center in Bhatiari, Sitakunda, Chittagong. When the students informed the exam supervisors about the mistake, the incorrect questions were retrieved, and the exam was postponed. This has caused significant anxiety and stress among the students.

Confirming the incident, Professor Rezaul Karim, Chairman of the Chittagong Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, said, “The responsibility of distributing exam questions lies with the district administration. The center secretary is responsible for overseeing and delivering the questions to the center each morning.”

He explained that due to negligence, incompetence, and carelessness on the part of the center secretary and the responsible district administration officials, the Physics 2nd Paper questions were mistakenly delivered instead of the 1st Paper. Upon discovering the error, immediate action was taken. The correct questions will be distributed, and the exam will be conducted today, with the time adjusted accordingly.

Professor Rezaul Karim assured that the mistakenly provided Physics 2nd Paper questions will not be used for any exams. The Physics 2nd Paper exam will take place as per the original schedule with alternative questions.

The board chairman also mentioned that an investigation would be conducted into the error, and appropriate measures will be taken.
