MBBS & BDS Result 2025-26: Merit Calculation System

The merit list for MBBS and BDS admission is prepared by combining academic results with the written exam score.

Here is how the marks are calculated:

  • SSC GPA is multiplied by 8 to make 40 marks
  • HSC GPA is multiplied by 12 to make 60 marks
  • These 100 academic marks are added to the written admission test score

Candidates who appeared for the admission test for the second time, or those who were previously admitted to a medical or dental college, will receive minor mark deductions as per DGHS rules.
