This is the third match between the two teams in this year’s World Cup Super Twelve. Both the teams have won one match each. So the match is very important for both the teams. Sri Lanka have lost to South Africa in all five of their last five matches. At one time, one team breathed a sigh of relief, but now Temba Babuma’s team is far ahead.

Sri Lanka have met South Africa 16 times so far in the T20. In which Bavuma’s team has won 11 matches and Shanakar’s team has won 5 matches. Again, South Africa has the highest team collection of these two teams. South Africa’s highest score against Sri Lanka was 198, which they did in 2016 in Colombo. And Sri Lanka’s highest team collection against South Africa is 160, in Cape Town.

Pakistan cricketer Babar Azam overtook Virat Kohli to take the number one spot. As the captain, Babur is now the fastest one thousand run in T20 format.

India’s Virat Kohli had the fastest 1,000 runs as captain so far in the T20 format. Virat scored a thousand runs in 30 innings. Azam broke that record in 26 innings. Babar set the record in the T20 World Cup against Afghanistan on Friday (October 29). He scored 51 runs in the match won by 5 wickets against Mohammad Nabid. Pakistan reached the target of 148 runs given by Mohammad Nabi and reached the port of victory with 6 balls in hand.

Pakistan is having a great time in this year’s T20 World Cup. They are still unbeaten in the tournament, showing great prowess in all three categories, bat-ball or fielding. Babur and Afridi also lost to India in the first match and New Zealand in the second.
