Due to pipeline relocation work, gas supply to all categories of consumers in Narsingdi and surrounding areas will be suspended for 12 hours on Wednesday, September 11.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company announced this in a press release on Tuesday, September 10. The suspension is part of the “SASEC Dhaka-Sylhet Corridor Road Development” project, necessitating the relocation of an existing pipeline from Nandipara Jame Mosque to Velanagar Bazar Jame Mosque.
Gas supply will be halted from 10 AM to 10 PM in areas including Chinishpur, Abed Textile Ghoradia, Narsingdi, Thermex Group, Boishakh Spinning, Kararchar, Shibpur, Narsingdi, and adjacent regions.
The announcement also noted that nearby areas might experience low gas pressure during this time. Titas Gas has expressed sincere apologies for the temporary inconvenience to its customers.
