HSC Admission 2024 for All College under Higher Secondary Education Bangladesh begins on Sunday (May 26, 2024). Students can submit the admission form directly through the official website at xiclassadmission.gov.bd or via Mobile SMS.
As the SSC and Equivalent Results published recently, the spotlight now shifts to the HSC, HSC BMT, Vocation, and Alim for the session 2024-25. The admission marks the transition for thousands of students from Secondary to Higher Secondary Education across Bangladesh.
HSC Admission 2024
Like the past years, the Higher Secondary Education Board announced the HSC Admission Date after the SSC and Equivalent Exam Results. This year, the SSC Result was published on May 12, 2024, with around 83.84% pass rate.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has announced the application date. As per this, the application procedure in both method online and SMS is set to start on May 26, 2024. As a result, students and parents are now gearing up for the next big step: securing admission into reputable Colleges and Madrasah.
Application Date and Time
The application process for HSC Admission 2024 in Bangladesh will begin May 26, 2024, and will remain open until June 1, 2024. Interested students can submit their applications online through the official HSC Admission portal and Mobile SMS during this period.

The HSC Admission Process
The HSC Admission process is officially declared by the Bangladesh Education Board, which oversees the entire application and selection procedure. Like the past few years, the admission process for all colleges under the Higher Secondary Board will be held online and via SMS.
In addition, there will be no admission test. Students will be eligible to get admission based on the obtained GPA of SSC and Equivalent Results. Note that, students can get scholarships from Dutch Bangla Bank who have at least 4.25 GPA, check DBBL SSC Scholarship 2024.
Eligibility Criteria: Students must have passed their SSC examinations to be eligible for HSC admission. Each college and madrasah may have specific GPA requirements, particularly for different streams such as Science, Humanities, and Commerce.
Submission Details: Applicants must visit the official at xiclassadmission.gov.bd to fill out their application forms. They must provide their SSC Roll number, Registration number, Education Board Name, and Examination Year. Applicants can choose at least 5 and up to 10 colleges in order of preference.
Application Fee: A minimum fee is required to submit the application. This fee can be paid through various mobile banking platforms including bKash, Nagad, or Rocket.
How to Fill Up the HSC Admission Form Online?
Admission aspirants need to apply as early as possible to avoid any last-minute technical issues and to ensure that all information entered is accurate. They must be aware that, the initial application process will start on Sunday (May 26, 2024). To submit the HSC online application, students can follow the instructions given below;
Firstly, open the SMS app and write the following information;
CAD<Space>Web<Space>1st three letters of Board<Space>Roll<Space>Examination Year
Once done, send the SMS at 16222. Teletalk will provide a PIN Number in the reply SMS that is required to pay the fee.
Next SMS:
CAD<Space>Yes<Space>PIN<Space>Contact Number
Teletalk will send the User ID and Password to the registered number within a few minutes. Students must save by taking screenshots or notes on paper. Then, follow the given steps for the online application;
- Step1: Enter on the official website at www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd
- Step 2: On the main page, click on the “Sign Up” button.
- Step 3: It will move you to a new page.
- Step 4: Type SSC Roll and Registration Number, Board Name, and Exam Year.
- Step 5: Check the information again and click on the “Submit” button.
- Step 6: On the page, the Name of the Student along with GPA, School name, and other information will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 7: Choose at least 5 and up to 10 colleges.
- Step 8: Tap on the “Preview” button. It will show the application.
- Step 9: Click on the “Submit” button.
- Step 10: Take a printout or screenshot to use it later.
Note that, interested students must select at least 5 colleges in the application time. The Xi Class Admission website allows up to 10 colleges to choose from the online submission.
1st Merit List Publication
The merit list, which will determine the allocation of seats, is scheduled to be published on June 23, 2024. This result will be based on the applicants’ SSC results and the preferences indicated in their applications. Students who will be selected in the HSC Admission 1st Merit List must confirm their admission by June 29, 2024.
They are advised to provide the necessary documents, pay the admission fee, and complete other formalities at the respective institutions.
