HSC Revised Routine 2024 Published, All you need to know about new date

The Revised HSC Routine 2024 for HSC and Equivalent Exams has been published today, Thursday (August 15). The postponed exams for Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Rajshahi, and other boards are set to conduct the exam from September 11, 2024.

The revised date and time for HSC and Equivalent Exams have been officially announced today by the Dhaka Education Board. A notice has been issued on the official website at dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd, which is signed by Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Chairman of the Board.

As per this, the postponed HSC and equivalent exams will resume on September 11, as announced by the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Thursday, August 15.

The theoretical exams will conclude on October 8, followed by the practical exams from October 15 to 23.

Previously, on August 12, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee had issued a notice stating that the postponed exams would be conducted with full marks. The committee also mentioned that the exam schedule would be released soon.

The exams were postponed multiple times due to concerns over student safety amid violent incidents related to the quota reform movement. Initially, the exams were supposed to start on August 11 but were delayed again after question papers were burned. These exams will now be held starting September 11 with new question papers.

Note that, this year’s HSC and equivalent exams began on June 30. A total of 1,450,790 students are registered under nine general education boards, technical boards, and madrasa boards.
