Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University (BOU). He is a respected professor in the Department of Physics at Dhaka University (DU). His appointment is set for a term of four years.
The announcement was made today, Thursday (September 12th) through a notification issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education. The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Shahi Noor Islam.
