108 arrested for participating in PUBG tournament in Chuadanga

108 Pubg Players has arrested for participating in the PUBG tournament in Chuadanga.

Bangladesh Police arrested those players today July 20, 2022, in the afternoon from the community center of the Shohortoli Daulatdia area. All the Pubg Players from the different districts including Dhaka, Narayanganj, and Cox’s Bazar gathered at Chuadanga to participate in the PUBG tournament.

According to the police report, on Tuesday night, hundreds of teenagers and youths came to Chuadanga from different districts of the country to participate in the Pubg Game which is banned by Bangladesh Government.

They participated PUBG games competition full night at a community center in the Shohortoli Daulatdia area. After getting such news, Police entered the community center and arrest 108 teenagers who participated in the PUBG tournament.

Some teenagers who participated in the competition Online Battle Game Pubg said that they came to play in Chuadanga after being invited online. A total of 19 player groups participated here for the full night. There are 4 players in each group and everyone plays with everyone.

Officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Sadar police station Mahabbur Rahman said that all those Pubg Game Participants arrested are students of different schools and colleges. Expensive smartphones were recovered from all of them.

Chuadanga Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Anisuzzaman said legal action will be taken considering the age of the arrested.

Meanwhile, mobile courts were set up for those youth and young people who participate in the tournament. 24 of them were sentenced to two days in prison. As 78 people’s age verification is going on, if they reach 18 years old, they should be sent to prison. It is said that a legal process will be taken regarding the remaining 6 organizers.
