18th NTRCA Preliminary: 18.5 Lakh Candidates to participate in MCQ Exam

The 18th NTRCA Preliminary Teacher Registration Exam has begun today (March 15). A total of 18,65,000 candidates are supposed to take part in the MCQ Type exam from all over the country.

The Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certification Authority declared the Preli Exam Date on January 24, 2024. The MCQ Type Exam is scheduled to be conducted in two shifts. The School and School Level 2 Exam is set to start at 9:30 AM and continue till 10:30 AM. On the same day, the College Level Exam is to be held from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

According to NTRCA, interested candidates will have to participate in the MCQ Exam of 100 marks in the Preliminary. There are Bengali, English, Math, and General Knowledge questions, with 25 numbers for each part. If a candidate gets at least 40 marks, will be considered for the next exam.

The 18th Notification was issued on November 4, 2023. A total of 18,65,000 applicants across the country have applied for the Teacher Registration Exam. The Preliminary Exam date was announced on January 24 through a press release. Besides, the NTRCA Admit card download notice was issued on the official website.
