After two times of postponements, the first phase of the DPE Recruitment Examination for the Assistant Teacher post in government primary schools is scheduled to be conducted on December 8. The Directorate of Primary Education has confirmed the date as final and invites the candidates to download the DPE Admit Card from December 2, 2023.
The information has been confirmed officially through a press release. The notice was published on Thursday (November 30) and published on the DPE Website at dpe.gov.bd. It was signed by Shah Rezwan Hayat, Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education.

DPE Admit Card Released
As we know, DPE has postponed the exam date two times in the last few weeks. As a result, lakhs of candidates who are eagerly waiting for the DPE Exam, also waiting for the admit card. A notice was issued on Saturday (December 2) regarding the DPE 1st Phase Exam. It is said that the exam will be conducted for three divisions. Candidates will need to enter the exam center within 9 AM.

Finally, the authority of the Directorate of Primary Education has confirmed the exam date and time for DPE Recruitment. The written exam for the Assistant Teacher post in the Govt Primary School of the country is to be held on December 8, 2023.
It is also said that candidates can download the DPE Admit Card 2023 from December 2. The official server will be open in the morning. Candidates who applied for DPE Assistant Teacher from Rangpur, Sylhet, and Barisal Division, are advised to enter the exam center within 9 AM.
How to Collect DPE Admit Card 2023
The DPE Authority declared that the first phase exam is to be held on December 8, 2023. The exam will begin at 10 AM and continue till 11 AM on that day. Interested candidates need to carry the admit card to participate in the DPE Written Exam.
So, applicants must download and take at least one printout of the DPE Admit Card. For this, they can follow the step by step instructions given below;
- Visit the Website: In order to download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website of Primary Education. So, type the URL (admit.dpe.gov.bd) on the internet browser.
- Locate the Main Menu: Once the DPE Portal appears on the screen, find out the Main Menu. Simply, click on there.
- Log in using Credentials: On the page, click on the “Login Form”. Type, the User Name and Password and click on “Login”.
- Type SSC Roll Number: Candidates can get the admit card via SSC Roll Number instead of the User ID and Password.
- Click on Download: After the successful login, the download button will be visible.
- Take a Printout: Click on “Print” or press Ctrl + P button to print the page.
Note that, the DPE Admit Card must be printed in color copy. Otherwise, it will be rejected by the officials who are available in the exam center.
