Ek Dofa Dabi, a big protest is happening across the country, led by students against discrimination, calling for the government’s downfall. Students and people took to the streets today, Sunday, (August 4) to support this protest in many districts, including Dhaka. Clashes between protesters, police, Awami League, and Chhatra League members have resulted in the deaths of 11 people in six districts and still counting.
As per the report, the demand for the government’s resignation has caused clashes in many areas. Protesters hold demonstrations and rallies in important places across the country, including the capital. In response, the Awami League and its allied organizations have also started their own programs.
Reports indicate that 2 people were killed in Munshiganj, 2 in Rangpur, 2 in Bogura, 1 in Magura, 1 in Comilla, and 3 in Pabna during the Ek Dofa Fabi Protest.
