Elon Musk's Starlink Satellite Internet to launch in Bangladesh

Elon Musk’s Starlink Satellite Internet Service is set to launch an Internet connection service in Bangladesh. In order to test run, the company has provided two devices for three months.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology told to media after the meeting with two officials of SpaceX. It is said that BTRC will fix the price after the test run ends.

As per the report, the two devices will be installed in Bangladesh soon to test the compatibility of Starlink Satellite Internet. One device will be installed o a bus and another one will be installed on a remote island in the country.

SpaceX officials, Joel Meredith who is the manager for global government affairs, and Parnil Urdhwareshe manager of licensing and activation met with Bangladesh ICT Dicision’s officials on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 (Today).

It is also learned that BTRC will fix the price with Elon Musk’s Starlink once the trial run is completed successfully. After that, the authority will announce Starlink Satellite Internet Pricing in Bangladesh.

The Starlink team will also attend the startup program to be held on Saturday in Dhaka.

Starlink is very famous for its satellite internet operated by Elon Musk’s owned company SpaceX which is providing internet connection to over 60 countries.
