After postpond the date two times, Bhagavad Gita Recitical program finally going to be held on Saturday (April 27) at Kantajew Temple located in Dinajpur District. About 20,000 devotees will recite the holy Gita during the event. It is assumed that the program will create a history in Bangladesh as well as all over the world.

As per the report, Kantajew Temple authority going to organize the historical event on April 27, 2024. The event is scheduled to start tomorrow at 9:15 AM by establishing Srimad Bhagavad Gita. The main program will start at 10:30 AM where about 20,000 devotees will recite Bhagavad Gita.

It is said that Honorable Minister of Lands, Narayan Chandra Roy will attend on the occasion as the chief guest. A large number of Hindus along with the Organizer assumed that the Kantajew Temple Gita Recite in 20,000 voices going to create a new record in the world. Because the number of devotes is higher than the last events held in the USA and Allen, Texas.

Note that, the event was scheduled for March 29, 2024, read the Kantajew Temple Gita Recite news here. But, the date has been postponed to April 20. Later, the authority has postponed this date as well. Finally, the recital program date has been fixed for Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Event Timings

Meanwhile, a remarkable event was held on July 14, 2023, in Texas USA, organized by Yoga Sangeeta Trust America and SGS Geeta Foundation. More than 10,000 people of all ages gathered at the Bhagavad Gita recite program together on the occasion of Guru Purnima, report Timesnownews.

Two years back, nearly 2,000 devotees aged between 5 years and 85 years from at least 13 countries attended the same recital event organized by Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Avadhootha Datta Peetha Trust. As per the Telanganatoday report, the event took place on August 13, 2022. Later, it was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest simultaneous recitation of the Hindu Religious Book.
