GP Recharge Validity has been extended for 35 days at a minimum recharge amount of 20 Taka for all prepaid services. The maximum validity is 395 days for a recharge of more than 299 Taka. The company has taken the decision after the “Boycott GrameenPhone” trend on social media.
A few days ago, the validity was 15 days in the same recharge balance. After that, the outgoing call service was suspended till the next recharge. Lakh of customers of Grameenphone started the Boycott trend on social media against their decision.
However, customers can now get at least 35 days of validity at recharge from 20 Taka according to the GP Recharge Validity Matrix. Any prepaid customers can get this offer, said in the press release.
The validity has been extended to the next amount, 45 days for 50 Taka recharge. In addition, customers will be eligible to access 65 days of validity at least 150 Taka. As per the announcement, the maximum validity has been set for 395 days.

Note that, GrameenPhone announced the minimum recharge at 30 Taka on January 8 this year, check GP Fixes Minimum Recharge at 30 Taka where it was 20 Taka in 2022. After two days, the company withdrew the decision amid the protest. However, they changed the validity from 30 days to 15 days at a minimum recharge of 20 Taka.
Earlier, the minimum recharge amount in various SIM Operators including GP was 10 Taka. At that time the validity was 30 days on any recharge amount. Later, all the companies fix the minimum recharge at 20 Taka.
