GSA Admission 2024: The application time for GSA – Govt School Admission along with Non-Govt has been extended today (November 15). The authority has declared the new date for GSA Admission for the session 2023-24. Interested candidates can submit the online application by November 18, 2023 through the official website at gsa.teletalk.com.bd.
Today, November 15, the Directorate Of Secondary & Higher Education (DSHE) has published an emergency notification to inform the matter. The notice was signed by Mohammad Aziz Uddin, Deputy Director (Secondary) and Member Secretary of the Dhaka Metropolitan Admission Committee.
As per the given notice, interested students will get 4 more days to apply for GSA Admission. The application date has been extended for all the Govt Schools under Secondary and higher Education, Non-Govt Admission for Classes 6 to 9, academic year 2024.
It is also said that students will get the chance to submit the application till November 18, 2023, at 5 PM. The admission portal will automatically stop receiving applications after the mentioned time. But, students will be able to pay the fee within 11:59 PM.
Like last year, the Directorate Of Secondary & Higher Education Board, DSHE announced the GSA Admission 2024 on October 17. The result will be generated via a lottery system. So, there will be no admission test, as said on the notice.
As the admission test will not be conducted this year, a student have the chance to get admission at a Govt School if his/her name appears on the GSA Lottery Result.
Earlier, the GSA Admission authority declared the admission date. As per this, the application start date was October 24 which ended on November 14, 2023. The application fee has been fixed at 110 Taka for the academic year 2024.
As per the report, more than 7 lakh students have applied to Govt and Non-Govt Schools from all over the country. Out of these, a total of 4 Lakh 88 thousand applications has been submitted for Govt School Admission till November 14 at 5 PM.
