HSC and Equivalent Examination for the year 2023 has been postponed for three Education Board including Chittagong Board. The new date has been announced on Friday, August 11, 2023 (Today) by the Ministery of the Education Board authority due to flood and continuous rains. The Exam will take place on August 27 instead of 17 in Chittagong, Madrasah, and Technical Board.
The decision regarding HSC and Equivalent Exam postponed taken on Friday (August 11) at 09:00 PM. M A Khayer, Information, and Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Education has confirmed the matter.
It is learned that HSC and Equivalent Exams in three Education Boards will be conducted from August 27, 2023. The Boards are; Chittagong Board, Madrasah, and Technical Education Board. But, the other 8 Board exams will take place as usual time on August 17, 2023, as per the routine published on the Inter-Education Board website.
M A Khayer, Information and Public Relations Officer, Ministery of Education said to Epi Express that, the HSC and Equivalent Exams for Chittagong, Madrasah, and Technical Board has set to start from August 27, 2023, instead of August 17 due to continuous rains and flood. Apart from this, other boards including Dhaka, Barisal, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Comilla, and Sylhet Board will take place at the right time on August 17, 2023.
Students who are going to appear on the exam must be aware that, there will be no change in the HSC and Equivalent Exams except Chittagong, Madrasah, and Tecnical Board. Students are advised to take final preparation for the exam.
It is also said that HSC Exam will be taken in the short syllabus. The Exam has set to start on August 17, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The MCQ Part will be taken in the first period. After that, written part (CQ) will start after the MCQ.
