Currently, Kacha Morich Price is too high in Bangladesh. As per the report, the price reached 1000 Taka to 1200 Taka per Kg in the various market of the country on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
The Price of Ginger was too much before the Eid Ul Adha. But, Kacha Morich Price was the most discussed topic in Eid Market across the country. Kacha Morich (Green Chili) Price started increasing before 4 days of Eid. Bangladesh’s Government allows importing of green chili in order to control the price.
As per the report, import-export has stopped at all the ports due to the Eid Holiday after two days of importing. Meanwhile, farmers claimed that Kacha Morich (Green Chili) has been destroyed due to continuous heavy rain. For this, the supply has been reduced. As a result, Kacha Morich Price has reached the highest record price. On July 1, 2023, Green Chili has been sold from 1000 Taka to 1200 Taka per Kg in the markets.
The Green Chili was being sold in the country for 400 Taka to 600 Taka per kg in the various markets before Eid.
