The MBBS Admission 2025 session 2024-25 of the Govt and Non-Govt Medical College will be held in January next year. The Medical Admission Test Date will be finalized after conducting the HSC and Equivalent Exam this year.
A source from the Ministry of Health said the HSC and Equivalent Exam for the year 2024 will take place from June 30. The written part of this exam will continue till August 11 according to the HSC Routine. There is a rule in the Bangladesh Education Board that the results including SSC and HSC to be published within 60 days after the written exam.
As per this, the HSC Result will be published within October 11, 2024. The plan has been taken to conduct the Medial Admission Test of the MBBS Course within 3 months after the HSC and Equivalent Results, added the source.
The Director of the Department of Health Education (Medical Education) Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Matubbar told the media that, the MBBS Admission depends on the HSC Result published date. Generally, the admission test is conducted within two or three months after publishing the result. The authority of the Ministry of Health will take the decision in this regard.
The source also said that the MBBS Medial Admission was taken on March 10 for the session 2022-23. The admission test session 2023-24 was conducted one month earlier in February. The Ministry of Health will take the MBBS Admission 2024-25 session this December or January next year.

Note that, the admission test for the session 2023-24 was taken on February 9, 2024. A total of 1,04,374 students have submitted the application for test. The result was published one day after the exam on February 11.
As per the report, about 47.83 percent of candidates have passed on the exam. Among them, 20,457 male candidates passed the exam which is 40.98 percent. On the other hand, a total of 29,466 female students have passed the exam.
