Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust has announced the Pmeat Scholarship 2024 for Degree 1st Year session 2021-22. Students under National University, DU, and Islamic Arabic University will get 5,000 Taka as a stipend scholarship. Interested students can submit application from Wednesday (May 8) via estipend.pmeat.gov.bd.
Bangladesh Government has announced important news for Degree 1st Year Students. A notice has been published on the website of the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust regarding the Scholarship for the session 2023-24. In addition, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board announced the same.
As per the notice, Degree 1st Year students will get a stipend through the Pmeat Scholarship. Those who were recently admitted in the Degree (Pass) and Equivalent Level (Degree 1st Year) at Dhaka University, National University, and Islamic Arabic University, will get financial support for Tuition buying books, and more.
Students will 1600 Taka for buying books, 1000 for Examination. Apart from this, selected students will get 2400 (200*12) Taka as a scholarship. As such, students can get 5,000 Taka in total in 1st Year. Moreover, the same amount will be distributed for the next two years (Min) or four years (Max).

Those students who were admitted to the Degree 1st Year (Pass) and Equivalent for the session 2021-22 under DU, NU, and IAU, can apply tomorrow (Wednesday, May 8). The application window of the official website (estipend.pmeat.gov.bd) will open in the morning at 9 AM.
Note that, the online application will continue until 15 days, ending on May 23, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Interested students can read the Pmeat Scholarship 2024 and visit the official website to apply. Students must be aware that, they can submit the application for free through their Smart Phone or PC.
Step by step instructions to apply online
- First of all, students need to visit the official website at estipend.pmeat.gov.bd.
- On the main page, click on the “Register” menu.
- Select the “Graduation Type” Degree or Fazil.
- Choose the Educational and Academic Year.
- Write HSC Roll and Registration Number.
- Input Mobile Number and Click on the “Submit” button.
- The registration process will be completed.
- Follow the instructions available on the next page.
