Sora AI Can Generate Realistic Video based on Text Prompts

ChatGPT owner, OpenAI has announced Sora Ai, which is capable of Generate Realistic Videos within a few seconds. Users will get a real look one-minute-long video based on text prompts.

Have you ever thought, you could see your imagination in the video? Or, do you want to create realistic videos through an AI? Well, there is good news for you. Now, you can easily generate videos using simple text prompts. OpenAI just announced Sora, a Video Generator AI Model that can generate videos within a few seconds.

OpenAI, the AI Chatbot King officially announced this on February 16, 2024. The information has been confirmed through a blog post of the company. The AI can generate realistic video footage up to one minute long maintaining the visual quality.

“Introducing Sora, our text-to-video model. Sora can generate videos up to a minute long while maintaining visual quality and adherence to the user’s prompt. Today, Sora is becoming available to red teamers to assess critical areas for harms or risks,” mentioned in the blog post.

There are a lot of example videos added to the post. One of the videos was generated using the prompt: “Beautiful, snowy Tokyo city is bustling. The camera moves through the bustling city street, following several people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. Gorgeous Sakura petals are flying through the wind along with snowflakes.”.

If you visit the official blog post and look at the video which is Generated by Sora AI using the above prompt, you will be surprised! You will not figure out whether the video footage is captured by the camera or not.

The company announced that access to Sora Video AI is granting access to some video creators, filmmakers, and designers to get feedback.

Meanwhile, a question has been posted on OpenAi Community. A user named doctormarys wrote, “Is SORA ready for use? How will you use it?”. I can’t wait to use it. Do you have any good ideas to use this new technology? Which projects do you think it matches better with? added the user.

Thousands of users have submitted their thoughts in the comment section.

“It would be absolutely incredible if ChatGPT was able to communicate not just by telling you, but by showing you. Imagine showing it a picture of a lawnmower and telling it you don’t know how to start it. Instead of just telling you via text, it could generate a video demonstration, possibly even with that specific model lawn mower. That was a poor example, but you can see where it goes. There have been many times where I just desperately wished that it could show me what it was talking about,” wrote a user on the comment section.

“This will be what I’m trying out first with car parts. I wonder if this will be a ChatGPT feature or API only :thinking:. Insane if true. And of course the psychedelic/ nightmare fuel stuff. Regardless, I can see Tiktok shorts being dominated by this,” another user replied.
