The application process for the Xi Class Admission session 2024-25 started on May 26 under the Higher Secondary Board. The online application will continue till June 11, 2024.
As per the report, thousands of students cannot enter the Xi Class Admission Payment portal due to a server error. It shows a “504 Gateway Time-out” message on the payment page. As a result, students can’t make application on the website. However, students can only sign up using Roll, Registration Number, and Board Name.
Lakh students have been trying to submit their college choice list on the official website since the first day of application. However, they cannot complete the submission process due to server issues. In addition, some aspirants experienced problems with the gender option.
Meanwhile, the authority of Xi Class Admission said to Epi Express that, the server issue and other problems including the “Gender Option” have been fixed. Interested students can use the website to submit the application.
The admission portal was not responding on the first day after a few minutes of application opening. On the other hand, thousands of students experienced the same issue yesterday, Monday till 3:30 PM, read Admission portal down again on 2nd day.
This year, a total of 25 lakh seats are available for HSC Admission. But, about 16,72,153 students have passed the SSC and Equivalent Exam. As such, more than 8 lakh seats will remain vacant.
Note that, about 20,24,192 examinees all over the country appeared in the SSC Exam. Of these, 16,72,153 candidates have passed the exam from 9 General, Technical, and Madrasah Board. As such, 83.04 percent of students have passed the SSC Examination. A total of 1,82,132 students reportedly got GPA 5.00.
