DU Admission Result 2024 for Dhaka University is set to be published today (March 28). The authority will release all unit results including A, B, C, and D Units. Students can check the merit list directly from the official website.
The university declared the information in a press conference regarding the admission result publication. “The Results for all units including Arts, Law and Social Sciences Unit, and Science Unit to be published today (March 28, 2024). The Merit List of the 1st Year Undergraduate Program session 2023-24 will be available on the official website after 3 PM.
According to the circular, the Dhaka University (DU) Admission test was started on February 23, 2024. The Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit exam was taken on the first day in 8 divisional cities of the country. After that, the next exam for Business Studies Unit was conducted on February 24.
In addition, the Science Unit on March 1, and Fine Arts (General knowledge and drawing) Admission test was held on March 9. The exam for all units except Fine Arts is taken in the 8 divisional cities including Dhaka Division. The University authority announced the DU Admission result date on March 27, 2024.
As per the report, a total of 2,79,002 applicants have applied for Dhaka University Admission against 5,965 seats in 4 Units. So, 47 candidates appeared on the admission test for each seat for the academic year 2023-24. Among them, 1,22,080 applicants have submitted for the Science Unit.
The authority said to the media that, 1,12,225 candidates have applied for Faculty of Arts Law and Social Science against 2,934 seats. In addition, 37,660 applied for the Business Studies Unit.
