Pmeat Degree 1st Year Scholarship under Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust begins on May 8, 2024. Students can submit their application directly through the official website at

This year, Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust has officially announced the Pmeat Scholarship 2024 for Degree 1st Year session 2022-23. Students will be eligible to get at least 5,000 Taka as a scholarship who studying or admitted to Dhaka University, National University, or Islamic Arabic University.

As per the notice, interested students of Degree 1st Year are invited to submit the application from May 8, 2024. The online application will continue till May 23, 2024, at 11:59 PM. In fact, students can apply directly through the official website at for free using a Phone or PC.

“Students who are currently studying at Degree 1st Year (Session 2023-24) or recently admitted, can eligible to apply for Pmeat Scholarship. Poor and Brilliant Students will get such huge financial assistance including tuition fees, book purchases, and examination fees. Each year, govt will give them at least 5,000 Taka as a scholarship,” said the press notification.

So, students under National University, Dhaka, or Islamic Arabic University can get the scholarship if they successfully apply within the deadline. They can simply do this through the official website at Moreover, the process is free, there is no need to pay for the application.

Here’s how students can apply for Pmeat Scholarship

  • Visit the official website at
  • On the main page, select the “Register” menu.
  • Select the “Graduation Type” Degree or Fazil.
  • Choose the Educational and Academic Year.
  • Write HSC Roll and Registration Number.
  • Input Mobile Number and Click on the “Submit” button.
  • The registration process will be completed.
  • Follow the instructions available on the next page.
