The Honours 1st Year Result 2025 under the National University has been published. The result is showing an overall pass rate of 87.04 percent. The result is for the academic session 2023–2024 and was announced on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Students can now check their results online through the official National University result website.
According to the university, a total of 4,43,729 students from 877 affiliated colleges across the country appeared in the Honours 1st Year examination. After completing the evaluation process, the university finalized the results and made them live at 3:00 PM. The publication of the result was approved by the Academic Council and the Syndicate, ensuring that all academic procedures were properly followed.
An official notice regarding the result was issued on the National University website. The notice was signed by Prof. Anamul Karim, Controller of Examinations. It stated that the results were prepared carefully and published online to ensure quick access for students. The university also advised students not to visit colleges for results and to use only the official online platform.
The Honours 1st Year examinations were held earlier this year, starting on August 24, 2025, and ending on October 15, 2025. Exams were conducted in phases at different centers nationwide. University officials said the exams were held smoothly and the answer scripts were evaluated under strict supervision.
Students can check their results by entering their roll number, registration number, and session information on the official website result.nu.ac.bd. Due to high traffic, the website may respond slowly at times. In such cases, students are advised to wait and try again later.
The online result shows subject-wise grades, total GPA, and pass or fail status. However, the university clarified that the online result is provisional. Original marksheets will be distributed later through the respective colleges. These marksheets will be required for Honours 2nd Year admission, scholarships, and other academic purposes.
Students who are not satisfied with their results will be able to apply for re-scrutiny following an official notice from the National University. Information regarding improvement or re-examination exams will also be published separately. The university has advised students to follow only official announcements to avoid confusion or misinformation.
