The National University (NU) has postponed one examination of the 2025 Bachelor’s (Honours) First-Year examinations by one day. The university announced on Monday (July 20) that the examination scheduled for July 27, 2025, will now be held on July 28, 2025, due to unavoidable circumstances.
According to an official press release issued by the National University’s Public Relations Office, the revised date applies only to examinations under Paper Code 211521 and Paper Code 211501. The university did not provide a specific reason for the change and said only that the decision was taken because of unavoidable circumstances.
The university confirmed that the postponement does not affect any other part of the examination process. Examination centres, reporting times, seating arrangements, and all other instructions will remain the same as previously announced.
Students appearing for the examinations under the two affected paper codes have been advised to report to their assigned examination centres on Monday, July 28, while following the existing examination guidelines. Apart from the revised date, the published examination routine will continue without any changes.
The updated schedule is expected to affect thousands of first-year Honours students across Bangladesh who are preparing for the examinations. Candidates are advised to check the revised date carefully to avoid any confusion.
University officials have also requested students not to rely on unofficial information shared on social media. Instead, they have urged examinees to follow only official notices published by the National University and regularly check the university’s website for any future updates.
The National University further stated that no additional revisions have been made to the 2025 Bachelor’s (Honours) First-Year examination routine. Only the examinations for Paper Codes 211521 and 211501 have been rescheduled, while all remaining examinations will take place according to the previously announced timetable.
