Huawei to launch Nova 15 Max with 8,500mAh battery on May 7

Huawei has confirmed the global launch of its new Nova 15 Max smartphone. The device is set to debut at an event in Thailand on May 7.

The company shared images and key details of the phone on X. The Nova 15 Max shows a refreshed design compared to other models in the Nova 15 series.

One of the main features is its large 8,500mAh battery. This is bigger than most smartphones currently on the market. The device will also include a 50-megapixel RYYB rear camera and stereo speakers.

Huawei has not yet shared full specifications. However, the images suggest the phone will come in three colour options.

The Nova 15 Max is expected to follow the Nova 15, Nova 15 Pro, and Nova 15 Ultra. These models were launched earlier in China in December 2025.

Early details suggest the Nova 15 Max may be a rebranded version of the Enjoy 90 Pro Max. That device was released in China last month. It features a 6.84-inch AMOLED display, a Kirin 8000 chipset, and 40W fast charging support.

For Bangladeshi users, battery life is often a key concern. A larger battery may help users who rely on mobile data, video streaming, and gaming throughout the day.

Huawei is expected to reveal more details, including pricing and availability, at the official launch event on May 7.
