Xiaomi 17T Series Teased With Two Display Sizes Ahead of Launch

Xiaomi has revealed new details about the upcoming Xiaomi 17T series ahead of its global launch next week. The company confirmed that the lineup will arrive in two display variants and at least two colour options.

The upcoming series is expected to include the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro models in global markets. Xiaomi also confirmed that the standard Xiaomi 17T will launch in India on June 4. This marks the return of the company’s T-series smartphones to the Indian market after more than four years.

In a post shared on X, Xiaomi showed the design of the upcoming phones. Both handsets appear with a flat rear panel and a square-shaped rear camera module. The camera setup includes three rear sensors with Leica branding, while the LED flash sits beside the camera island.

The company also teased two colour options. The smaller display variant is shown in a Violet shade, while the larger model appears in Deep Blue. Both phones feature a flat metal frame with the power button and volume keys placed on the right side.

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the full specifications of the new smartphones. However, recent leaks suggest that the standard Xiaomi 17T could feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The handset is also expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. According to leaks, the chip may offer a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz. The phone could also include 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The Xiaomi 17T series launch is important for Indian buyers because the company has not introduced a T-series phone in the country for several years. More official details, including pricing and complete specifications, are expected to be announced during the launch events later this month.
