The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has officially released the DPE Admit Card 2023 today (Saturday, December 2) for the upcoming exam. The Primary Recruitment Examination is finally scheduled to be held on December 8, 2023. The applicant who successfully applied and uploaded a passport-size color photo with a signature can download the admit card.
The information has come through an office order published on the official website at dpe.gov.bd. The notice was signed by the Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education today, December 2.
It is said that the DPE Admit Card is available to download from the morning on the website. Some of the candidates claimed that they downloaded and printed out the admit card through the official website at admit.dpe.gov.bd.
According to the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE), the first phase exam is to be held on Friday, December 8, 2023. A total of 3,60,697 candidates from the Rangpur, Sylhet, and Barisal Divisions will take part in the written exam. The exam will be conducted in the 535 centers of 18 districts.
“The candidates must bring the color copy of the DPE Admit Card along with the National ID Card (NID/Smart Card) to participate in the exam. Like the past exams, books, and electronic devices including Smart Watch and Mobile Phone are not allowed. If anyone enters the exam center with these devices, immediate action will be taken against the candidate,” said in the given notice.
The applicants have to enter the mentioned website. After that, they can easily download the admit card by logging on to their profile with a username and password. In addition, applicants can get it by providing the SSC Roll, Name of the Education Board, and Passing Year.

Steps to Download DPE Admit Card 2023
Lakh of candidates who applied on Primary Teacher Recruitment for Assistant Teacher post can download the admit card. Firstly, the written exam will be taken only for three divisions; Rangpur, Barisal, and Sylhet. A total of 3,60,697 candidates will participate in the 1st phase exam on December 8.
If you also belong to the mentioned divisions, you must need to download and print the DPE Admit Card. For convenience, you can follow the step-by-step method given below;
- First of all, you will need to visit admit.dpe.gov.bd.
- On the page, select the method (User ID or SSC Roll).
- Type User ID and Password or SSC Roll, Exam Year.
- Click on the “Login” button.
- Now, your profile will appear.
- Click on the “Download” button.
- Open the admit card and take a printout.

Earlier, the first phase exam of DPE Assistant Teacher Recruitment was supposed to be held on November 24. On November 8, the Primary Education Board informed that the written exam will be held on December 1 instead of November 24. However, the date was postponed, and fixed the new date for December 8, 2023.
