Saudi Arabia going to make a new history in the entertainment industry. The Islamic country is all set to participate in the Miss Universe Pageant for the first time ever. This year, 27-year-old Riyadh-born Rumy Alqahtani will represent the Kingdom in the Miss Universe Competition 2024 on September 18.
The model and influencer officially announced this news on Monday (March 25) through her Instagram account. Alqahtani said that she is going to participate in the Miss Universe 2024 to represent the kingdom for the first time.
“I am honored to participate in the Miss Universe 2024 competition. This is the first participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant,” the Riyadh-born model and influencer Rumy Alqahtani wrote in Arabic Language in her Instagram post on Monday.
As per the announcement, the global event, Miss Universe is set to take place in Mexico on September 18. Rumy will represent the Kingdom as a debut pageant of Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, 27 Years 27-year-old Riyadh-born model represented the Kingdom in various international competitions, including Miss Europe, Miss Asia in Malaysia, and Miss Arab Peace, report Gulf Today.
In addition, the model and influencer was crowned Miss Saudi Arabia, and she achieved many titles such as Miss Middle East (Saudi Arabia), Miss Arab World Peace 2021, and Miss Woman (Saudi Arabia).
