New details about the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 6 series have surfaced online. A known tipster shared key specifications of both the Civi 6 and Civi 6 Pro models.
According to the tip, the Xiaomi Civi 6 Pro will run on the Dimensity 9500 processor. This is a high-end chip used in premium smartphones.
The Civi 6 Pro is expected to feature a 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution. It may also include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. A periscope camera allows clearer zoom shots from a distance.
The same source said Xiaomi is also working on the standard Civi 6 model. This version may use the Dimensity 8500 chip. It is likely to come with a smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K display.
The Civi 6 is also tipped to feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom. This suggests both models may offer similar zoom performance.
However, earlier reports had different claims about the Civi 6. Some rumours suggested it could use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Those reports also mentioned a 200-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus.

These details have not been confirmed by Xiaomi. The company has not yet announced the Civi 6 series officially.
Xiaomi launched the previous model, Civi 5 Pro, in May last year. This timeline suggests the new series may arrive soon.
