Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro May Get Different Telephoto Camera

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro may feature a different telephoto camera from the Galaxy S27 Ultra, according to a new leak. The report adds fresh details to earlier rumours about Samsung’s next flagship smartphone lineup.

Recent leaks claimed Samsung could introduce a fourth model in the Galaxy S27 series. The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to sit between the standard and Ultra variants.

Earlier reports suggested the Galaxy S27 Pro would be similar to the Galaxy S27 Ultra but with a smaller body and no S Pen support. However, the latest rumour points to a key camera difference between the two devices.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra is now said to feature three rear cameras instead of four. If true, this would mark a change from previous Ultra models, which included two telephoto cameras.

The leak also claims Samsung plans to use new sensors for the main and ultrawide cameras on the Galaxy S27 Ultra. These sensors are expected to appear on the Galaxy S27 Pro as well.

The telephoto camera, however, may not be the same on both devices. The source did not reveal exact details about the difference. It remains unclear whether Samsung will use a smaller sensor or make other hardware changes in the Pro model.

Industry watchers believe the smaller size of the Galaxy S27 Pro could influence Samsung’s camera choices. A more compact design often limits the space available for larger camera components.

Samsung has not confirmed any details about the Galaxy S27 series so far. More leaks and reports are expected in the coming months as the launch approaches.
