A new leak suggests the Vivo Y600 Turbo may launch in China on May 25 with a large battery, 165Hz display, and MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

Vivo could soon expand its Y600 smartphone lineup in China with the launch of the Vivo Y600 Turbo. A recent leak has revealed the handset’s expected launch date along with several key specifications ahead of its official announcement.

According to Chinese tipster Whylab on Weibo, the Vivo Y600 Turbo is expected to launch in China on May 25. The leaked promotional material also suggests that reservations for the smartphone may begin on May 21. Pre-sales are reportedly scheduled to start at 10am local time on May 25, which is 7:30am IST.

The leak indicates that the Vivo Y600 Turbo may feature a large 9,020mAh “Blue Ocean” battery. The handset is also tipped to support 90W wired fast charging. The teaser image reportedly shows the device in pink and white colour options.

The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.83-inch OLED display offering 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. If the information is accurate, it could become Vivo’s first smartphone with a 165Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y600 Turbo is rumoured to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. It may also include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device is expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

For photography, the handset could feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it is tipped to include a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The Vivo Y600 Turbo is also said to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11, which launched in China in March. The iQOO Z11 starts at CNY 2,299, which is roughly Rs. 31,200, for the 8GB + 256GB variant.

If Vivo uses similar hardware and pricing, the Vivo Y600 Turbo could arrive in the same premium mid-range smartphone segment. Vivo has not yet officially confirmed the device or its launch schedule.
